General
How will I create an account?
After purchase, you'll be emailed a licence key, which you will use to create an account. If you already have an account, you can apply an additional license key in Account > Account Settings.
What's included in all-access?
All Access currently includes lifetime access to the Ruby on Rails starter kit, plus the library of ActionMailer email templates & components. It also includes free access to any new content we release.
What exactly does 'lifetime access' mean?
Lifetime access means that you purchase once and own it forever. No subscriptions.
What exactly does 'free updates' mean?
From time to time, updates to existing products will get released, or entire new products will get released. By purchasing all-access, you'll get access to these updates for free.
What is your refund policy?
If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, send an email to [email protected] within 30 days and I'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
How will you track my purchase?
When you purchase a RailsNotes UI product, you will be emailed a unique access code which will track your purchase, and allow you to create a RailsNotes UI account with the appropriate level of access.
Licensing
What does the personal license cover?
Our personal license allows you to use RailsNotes UI content to build an unlimited number of your own apps, SaaS or products. It doesn't allow you to use these components to build projects for clients, and it doesn't allow you to share or redistribute any RailsNotes UI content directly.

What does the team/agency license cover?
Our team and agency license allows up to 25 people at your organisation to access RailsNotes UI content. It also allows you and your team to build an unlimited numnber of apps, SaaS or products for clients, as well as yourself. It doesn't allow you to share or redistribute any RailsNotes UI content directly.

Can I use RailsNotes UI to build my own commercial products?
Yes! The RailsNotes UI license gives you permission to build an unlimited number of apps & projects, including apps where the end user needs to pay you for access. The agency license expands this to also allow you to charge clients for projects you deliver that are built with RailsNotes UI, or include RailsNotes UI content.

Can I sell components or templates I build using RailsNotes UI?
No. The RailsNotes UI license prohibits you from creating derivative products like templates, component libraries and boilerplates which would involve repackaging and redistributing our content.

Once you've bought a RailsNotes UI team license, you'll be emailed a single license key to allow you to setup a team account. For now, you'll need to email [email protected] to add other members of your team.
